Dressing up for a GOSH-tastic cause

Dressing up for a GOSH-tastic cause

Halloween is the perfect time to let your imagination run wild and dress up in wacky costumes. But what if dressing up could also help a great cause? That's exactly what we did here at TLTP this Halloween.

In support of Great Ormond Street Hospital’s Christmas Appeal‘One Step Closer to Home’ staff at TLTP unleashed their creative skills that ranged from witches, zombies, vampires to characters from books, hit TV shows and films.

The team had a great time coming up with their costumes and decorating the office with pumpkins, spider webs, and other spooky items that added to the Halloween atmosphere.

There was even a prize dressed for the best-dressed costume which went to James Fisher who came as the Man with No Name from the The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.

But what was even more memorable was we raised an amazing £400, which will help fund vital equipment, accommodation, entertainment for children and families helping them to be one step closer to home as well as bringing Christmas at the hospital to those whose treatment needs to continue over the festive season.

The Halloween costume contest was a great way for the team to come together and support a fantastic cause. Charity work not only benefits the wider community but also helps to boost employee morale and bring teams closer together. The event was a reminder that it's important to have fun and be creative, even in the workplace. It's a healthy way to relieve stress and bond with colleagues.
