How Fixed-Term Teaching works with TLTP Education

When schools need short-term cover, they turn to agencies like us to help them find suitable cover.

We then begin searching through our database for applicable candidates. Short-term supply is a good way for Early Career Teachers to experience a range of different schools and get a grasp of different environments without having too much after-school planning.

• We will always offer work with as much notice and as locally as possible.
• We will do our best to ensure your needs are met and the school is a suitable match.
• We will always gather as much information about the school, provide detailed directions and as much information about the role you will be covering.
• We will try to provide feedback from schools and make you aware of any opportunities you may not know of.
• We will keep in contact with you throughout the assignment, however long that may be.

In return we ask you, as a Fixed-Term Supply worker to: -

• Stay in regular contact with your TLTP Education consultant about your availability for work.
• Arrive on time and treat the assignment as you would if it was your permanent job.
• Be reliable, adaptable, and committed.
• Do everything you can to ensure pupils’ regular progress is not disrupted.
• Ensure you are fully compliant with us as well as complete and submit timesheets for your work.
