Science Teacher - The Role
This school is looking for a talented inspiring qualified Science teacher with excellent subject knowledge to join their department. The appointed teacher will be passionate and engaging, responsible for demonstrating high quality teaching to ensure students can make accelerated progress. The Science Teacher will be experienced in teaching KS3 to KS5 Science and know how to effectively use the resources to deliver the highest standard learning material. This is a full-time, permanent role starting ASAP.
Science Teacher - The School
This is a secondary mixed co-ed school in the London Borough of Croydon, catering to 1033 pupils ranging from ages 11-19. Conveniently located near many local stations; 10 minutes' walk from Purley Oaks, Sanderstead Rail station. It also has great connections to London via the West Croydon overground station & local buses stopping directly outside the school. The school has specialism in science with students having the choice of studying AQA Double or Triple Science as GCSEs. Progression at the school exceeds expectations with 81% of students progressing to higher education - 77% of which are considered disadvantaged students. This school is Ofsted rated Good on all aspects and only seems to be getting better!
